Charly Bastard oversees the integration of ESG factors for the fixed-income portfolio at CDPQ and contributes to CDPQ’s efforts to finance the low-carbon transition, notably by leading the analysis of portfolio companies’ transition strategy to assess their alignment with the Paris Agreement.
In that role, he leads initiatives aiming to better leverage sustainability data to assess companies’ climate strategy efficiently and contributes to the development and implementation of CDPQ’s climate engagement strategy.
Nathalie Wallace, Global Head of Sustainable Investing, Natixis Investment Managers
Nathalie oversees Natixis' ambitious sustainable investment strategic goals and is responsible for driving Natixis Investment Managers’ sustainable investment commitments across its distribution network, its affiliate managers and as part of industry-wide initiatives. In that role, she is charged with strengthening the firm’s sustainable stewardship, driving the research agenda and investment capabilities, developing the range of innovative sustainable solutions for Natixis IM’s clients worldwide and supporting them on their journey from early state ESG integration, through climate, to impact investing. Nathalie has dedicated her career to sustainable economic development as an investor in emerging markets.
Richard Manley, Chief Sustainability Officer, Managing Director and Head of Sustainable Investing, CPP Investments
Richard leads the team responsible for integrating consideration of environmental, social and governance, including climate risks and opportunities across our investment programs. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2019, Richard spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently Global Head of Thematic Equity and ESG Research, and Co-Head of EMEA Equity Research. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch, Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, and Paribas Capital Markets as an Integrated Oil & Gas equity analyst. Richard holds a Graduado Superior/BA (Hons) in European Business Administration from ICADE in Madrid.
