Silje joined Baringa in 2011 and immediately felt at home within a community of friendly, fun, and driven individuals who are equally passionate about their work and social lives. Bringing a few years of project management experience to the table, she quickly made her mark by delivering some of Baringa’s largest and most challenging transformation programmes - while forging lifelong friendships along the way.

For Silje, high-performing teams are built on shared purpose, strong ownership, and accountability, while also creating space for fun and companionship that lasts long beyond project delivery. It’s that bond, she believes, that drives people to go the extra mile when it matters most.

One of Silje’s standout moments was leading the cutover weekend of a monumental 2.5-year delivery for a major energy trader. It marked the first time the client had paused trading, and the entire team was glued to the clock, ensuring every step wrapped up before operations resumed. With trust and teamwork firing on all cylinders, the team tackled real-time challenges efficiently, finishing ahead of schedule. Instead of working until 3am, they celebrated the achievement together with well-earned drinks - a proud memory that encapsulates what teamwork at Baringa is all about.

Beyond work, Silje is kept on her toes by her energetic puppy, who is slowly learning to swap chewing everything in sight for exploring London’s buzzing bars and restaurants.
