In detail:
Throughout her life and work, curiosity has been a guiding force for Sarah. It’s taken her from a small town in rural Ontario to pursue higher education in London, and on to a consulting career spanning nearly two decades.
Sarah has always been captivated by interesting problems and, from the outset, she’s made it a priority to pursue work with a purpose. Over the years, she’s woven these threads into a rich tapestry of experience, working with organisations at the heart of the energy transition.
In her previous role, Sarah brought her curiosity and passion for problem-solving to some of the world’s biggest energy companies. She’s worked alongside executives to understand their goals and challenges around the energy transition, helping them to mobilise investors and capital to make change happen.
At Baringa, Sarah heads up a team of experts focused on the energy and resources transition. She has been massively impressed by the geeky depth of expertise in her new team, especially in digital and data applied both to existing asset effectiveness and to the energy transition. With an approach that’s equal parts open, empathetic and pragmatic, Sarah can’t wait to make the most of her team’s rich experience to guide investors, corporates, and governments on the journey to a lower carbon and more sustainable future.
Before joining Baringa, Sarah had the opportunity to let curiosity guide her on a year of travel and reconnection. She made the most of every minute: spending time with family and friends in Toronto, completing a yacht master certification course in Sydney, brushing up on her Spanish in Argentina and Granada, and travelling to India to visit a charity working with women and children in the slums – a cause with which she’s been working for over a decade.
