In detail:

Ryan has more than 17 years of experience in financial services. He started his career in reinsurance, focusing on credit risk management before transitioning into consulting where he was able to deepen this knowledge across banking and capital markets. Ryan has supported some of the world’s largest financial institutions in their implementation of various Dodd-Frank Act regulations stemming from the 2008 financial crisis. Building on his risk and regulatory experience, Ryan has helped US and European clients formulate their net zero strategy, embed climate risk into the risk management framework, and measure environmental and social impact and outcomes.

Ryan brings passion and energy to his clients. Relentlessly curious by nature, Ryan enjoys reading industry and research papers with his teams and collaborating with his teams and industry experts in sustainable finance. Using his deep expertise, he simplifies complex concepts into a compelling vision or strategy to obtain leadership buy-in. He’ll then break down the journey into actionable steps that clients can follow and guide them on how to achieve their objectives, improve capabilities and deliverable measurable outcomes.

Based in New York, Ryan loves nature walks in Prospect Park, catching baseball games and trying new local restaurants. Closer to home he’s taken up slower pursuits – hot yoga, cooking and gardening with his wife, and two young children - who are a key motivator for his work on environmental and social issues facing our society. Ryan is hoping that through his work he can play a small part in creating a sustainable and inclusive future for the next generation.
