What job would you be doing in another life?
Growing up I always wanted to be a pilot – one of those dreams that got away – but I’m still an excitable kid anytime I’m at an airport or on a plane!

Matt joined Baringa in 2025 after fifteen years leading complex digitally enabled transformations in the policing and public safety arena – helping drive increased citizen safety, and improved criminal justice outcomes.
The criminal justice network is a complex eco-system that has built up over many years. It’s efficient and effective operation is critical to maintaining the stability of UK life – and helping the most vulnerable in society in their hour of need. The emergence of new technologies, along with the broader reform agenda, is a unique opportunity to modernise the landscape – and allow the police, and their partner agencies, to focus on high quality citizen interactions.
Matt’s work ranges from national strategies, to local police force transformations – and interacting with a wide variety of senior leaders, technology providers, and day to day practitioners to embed change that truly lasts. His experience spans the full delivery lifecycle from inception through to execution – and he loves nothing more than solving complex problems.
Having grown up in Dorset Matt is a keen sailor, and now lives in Chester where he can usually be found at the weekend cheering on his son from the sidelines of various sports activities!
