Lucy has played a key role in some of the most iconic transformations in retail. She’s an expert in untangling supply chains, and helping retailers think end to end to create exciting new experiences for customers. And she is passionate about connecting retailers with exciting start-ups, who are redefining customer service in a digital world.
From flat screen televisions to fruit, from beauty products to the latest fashions, Lucy has partnered with all kinds of retailers. For 25 years, she’s helped them turn change into opportunities, and keep the promises they make to customers.
One of Lucy’s career-defining projects was helping a catalogue retailer reinvent itself – to go from stubby pencils and catalogue books to in-store iPads, online shopping and same day delivery. She helped the business push boundaries and build something genuinely new.
In life and in business, Lucy believes in the power of everyday kindness. She loves working within a team that cares about each other’s lives outside work as well as inside. To her, kindness also means caring about the long-term success of the people and the companies she works with. She doesn’t mind being the critical friend when there’s an honest conversation to be had.
Those who know Lucy will tell you she’s always on the move, and never happy unless she’s busy. She’s a qualified executive coach, channelling her energy and experience to the next generation of leaders and consultants. Back home, in Windsor, she looks for any opportunity to get outdoors for a run, swim or a bike ride with her family.
