In detail:
Gavin is Baringa’s Global Lead for Industrial Manufacturing, encompassing Aerospace and Defence, Automotive and Industrial Products.
He has nearly three decades’ of experience in consulting, primarily in A&D, working with companies like BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce.
Prior to joining Baringa, Gavin grew Accenture’s A&D practice to one of the largest in the UK, then, after a year in industry as strategic advisor to Rolls-Royce, moved to IBM Consulting. He’s also served as a Consultant Fellow to the UK’s leading defence think tank, RUSI.
Gavin recently graduated from SAID Business School, University of Oxford, with a Diploma in Strategy and Innovation with a dissertation on ‘The strategic industry evolution required to respond to AUKUS’.
Gavin was born and raised in Shropshire, where he still lives. He’s married with a son who has recently finished his first year at University. In his spare time Gavin is a keen golfer, runner and watcher of many sports. He’s a lifelong supporter of Manchester United.
