In detail:

Jamie has been with Baringa since 2016, working in the power sector with investors, developers, utilities, traders and large energy users. He gives clients advice that balances value and risk and is always backed by strong analytical foundations. The problems he has helped solve for clients range from transactions to commercial structuring to technology. In recent years Jamie has spent most of his time working with large energy using clients and developing Baringa’s Energy Source platform to best serve our clients in this area.

Before joining Baringa, Jamie worked for a listed software company in the banking sector, where he gained valuable experience in software development and deployment. After some time in that sector, Jamie made the decision to build a career in the energy sector, and returned to post-graduate study in order to get a grounding in energy before joining Baringa.

Outside of work Jamie lives in west London with his wife and two children. His wider family are spread across Scotland where he grew up and still spends a lot of time, particularly in the mountains.
