Baringa wins Women of the Future Award
We are delighted to have been awarded the Women of the Future award in the corporate category. We were among five incredibly strong finalists Google, BBC, Coca-Cola and Imperial College London.
The award recognises the organisation that is doing the most to support and nurture young women in business and is clearly and demonstrably committed to realising the talents of younger women within their workforce.
The judges commented on Baringa: “Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of Baringa's business, with clear objectives and a real emphasis on embedding D&I throughout every part of the organisation. We were particularly impressed by Baringa's focus on data to measure actual performance against these objectives and to identify hotspots for action.”
Katy Mirzaie, Partner and Baringa’s D&I lead, says: “At Baringa, we don’t only pay attention to maintaining a gender balance in our hiring process, we have also established female leadership programmes and ensure there is female leadership representation in our performance management reviews at mid-year and end of year.”
Katharine Williams, Partner and Gender Diversity lead, says: “We couldn’t be more proud of our achievement and the progress we’ve made in our D&I journey. Thank you to the Gender Diversity Network and the Inclusivity Pillar for their efforts in making Baringa the inclusive workplace that it is today.”
