Yinfan joined Baringa as a power market analyst and has since stayed close to market fundamentals, policies and regulations. He supports developers, utilities and investors on their key strategic, investment and commercial decisions.
He enjoys tackling difficult client challenges, from modelling the revenues and risk under complex PPAs, to articulating the interactions of different assets and technologies within a diversified portfolio through analytical solutions.
He leads many of Baringa’s power market advisory engagements in the Nordics - a region he finds fascinating as it sits at the forefront of every energy transition theme, from merchant renewables to power-to-x to data centre boom.
Outside work Yinfan enjoys basketball and, lately, playing his kids’ new toys.
