Vlad joined Baringa in 2017, bringing with him over fifteen years of experience across economic consultancy, academic research in energy economics, and investment banking.
He helps public sector clients understand the economic implications of launching policies and reforming regulations. With private sector clients, Vlad spearheads new commercial strategies and equips clients with the tools and processes they need to includence and adapt to policy and regulatory change.
Vlad is a firm believer that good policymaking and effective regulation require both the public and the private sectors to play an active and constructive part. He is committed to helping both sides to maximise their impact in the process and to build lasting and effective frameworks that help the energy and resources sector to meet long-term economic, social and environmental objectives. On top of this, he's driven to do everything he can to ensure that innovative and efficient companies takling climate change can be commercially successful.
Vlad is married and has two children. He cycles to work come rain or shine, building up energy and gathering his thoughts for the day ahead. He also loves to travel to new places with his family, sharing new experiences and snapping pictures for posterity along the way.
