In detail:
Tom has been with Baringa since 2019, having joined to help set up the Government business. He is a member of the Government Leadership Team and leads the major programme transformation group for Government. He has deep expertise in setting up and managing large-scale cross-government programmes, ranging from the London Olympics to EU Exit to Net Zero. Tom has worked in numerous central government departments and arms-length bodies, advising Civil Servants, SROs, and Programme Directors on their biggest programme and portfolio challenges and previously worked in the UK Civil Service.
He is passionate about creating supportive learning environments that enable people to maximise their potential, encouraging team members to be authentic, kind, and curious. This naturally aligns with Baringa’s people-first culture, which Tom actively supports through his role as People Lead, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, performance management and mentoring across the Government team, promoting a diverse and inclusive team environment.
Tom loves listening to podcasts, running, rugby, and spending time with his wife, son and two girls. These interests usually come together on a Sunday where he is usually found running after his young family whilst attempting to coach the minis section at his local rugby club.
