Sunny is a Partner at Baringa, helping organisations across health and the public sector navigate complex transformation and deliver lasting impact through data and AI.
He works with senior leaders to turn emerging ideas into practical, scalable solutions - combining clear strategic direction with a strong focus on execution. Sunny’s approach is grounded in building the capability, culture and leadership needed for organisations to sustain change long after the initial innovation has been delivered.
Sunny’s career began studying Medicine, where he developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing healthcare systems. Recognising the increasing importance of data and digital innovation, he moved into strategy consulting, working at the intersection of healthcare, analytics and transformation.
He has since worked at the forefront of data-led change in the NHS, including as the first Director of Analytics for an Integrated Care System. In this role, he led the development of the NHS playbook on population health, demonstrating how data-driven insight can transform care at scale for entire communities.
Beyond the public sector, Sunny has focused on building and scaling new ventures. This includes founding Clinify, a Software-as-a-Medical Device business, and helping to grow an AI and data business in the UK. His work has contributed to nationally recognised solutions, including products referenced in the NHS 10-Year Plan and recognised through industry awards.
Having built and scaled multiple teams across both public and private sector organisations, Sunny believes that successful transformation goes beyond the initial idea. He is passionate about helping clients embed the capability and mindset required to continue evolving in a fast-changing environment.
Outside of work, Sunny is a dedicated Liverpool FC fan and enjoys staying active - often walking meetings and aiming to clock up 15,000–20,000 steps a day.
