"I think it’s a really exciting time to be working with the pharmaceutical industry as companies are adopting and adapting to new technologies and approaches to help improve their efficiency and effectiveness. I want to bring my deep knowledge of the industry and the best of Baringa to help our pharma clients enhance their ways of working and program strategies as well as their plans to help deliver new treatments to patients, all within this new paradigm."

What would your superpower be?
My superpower would be teleportation – it would be really handy for work and also day to day – plus it would be a very green way to travel.
In detail:
Phil is a Partner in our Life Sciences team, focusing on helping companies improve and enhance R&D productivity through operating model re-design, simplifying processes, supporting adoption of AI and automation, and working with program teams directly to support their strategies and plans.
Following seven years in the pharmaceutical industry, Phil then spent over ten years working in a number of boutique and large strategy and technology companies delivering products and services including industry benchmarking, competitive intelligence, building analytics, modelling and data visualisation tools, as well as providing advice to help companies define and execute their R&D strategies and plans.
For the last ten years Phil has worked within management consulting where he leads large transformation projects which continue his mission to help companies improve their R&D productivity - ultimately helping companies progress their pipelines and launch the new drugs that patients need.
Outside of work, Phil loves spending time with his friends, family and talking his dog for walks. He’s an avid reader, baker and bridge player and loves nothing more than enjoying the very active music scene in both Manchester and Leeds, before returning to his home on the edge of the Peak district to unwind.
