Pareen brings over 15 years of experience across the infrastructure sector, with a strong track record of leading complex programmes in both government and industry. He combines strategic insight with a practical, outcomes-focused approach, delivering impactful work across transport, energy, defence, and space. His expertise lies in aligning policy ambition with operational delivery and driving meaningful organisational improvement.
Pareen is passionate about helping clients design and deliver transformational change. He is known for cutting through complexity and working closely with boards and senior leadership teams to align on priorities that lead to tangible results. He began his career as an engineer in nuclear power stations and aerospace/defence manufacturing before discovering his passion for public service while helping London Underground optimise maintenance on the Central Line.
He now brings operating model expertise honed across multiple transport organisations, alongside deep experience in delivering major operational programmes. He has a particular interest in rail transformation, having spent several years supporting senior leaders across the railway sector as they adapt to nationalisation and prepare for the transition to Great British Railways. From Whitehall to station platforms, Pareen excels at helping clients find common ground and move forward across complex organisational landscapes and competing incentives.
Outside of work, Pareen enjoys a challenge – whether it’s hiking in remote locations or chasing a new personal best over 5K.
