Michael is a Partner based in New York, with over 20 years of experience advising capital markets clients across the sell and buy side. Prior to joining Baringa, he held senior roles at Accenture and Alvarez & Marsal, working with tier-one financial institutions on complex transformation initiatives.

Michael supports clients across operations, regulatory change, post-merger integration, trading systems, wealth management, client onboarding, and OTC clearing. His career has brought him into contact with high-caliber clients and colleagues and given him the opportunity to work on some of the industry’s most complex challenges while living and working around the world. He is passionate about helping clients deliver value to their shareholders and use innovation to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market.

He believes we are at the cusp of a once-in-a-lifetime shift in a space that has remained largely unchanged for decades. AI and AGI will upend years of optimization roadblocks and digital assets will revolutionize transparency and create friction fiat movement at the heart of the capital markets.

Having studied Computer Science at the University of Nottingham and spent early days of his career as a software engineer, Michael is a technologist at heart. Outside of work, he enjoys, snowboarding, humbly studying the grappling arts, taking his car out on track days, cooking and eating!

Born and raised in the UK with proud Asian roots, Michael has lived and worked in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and is now raising a young family in New York.
