Lucine is a Partner in the Banking and Capital Markets team at Baringa, with a focus on Capital Markets, CIB and Wealth Management clients, reshaping how they operate from the front office through to finance, risk, operations and technology.
Lucine’s work sits at the intersection of strategy and delivery. She has led post-merger integration for two Global Systemically Important Banks, structured a £2.5bn industrialisation programme across nine functions for a Swiss universal bank, and helped a global fund administrator lift EBITDA margin from 10% to 20% through a cost reduction programme. She has guided clients through LIBOR transition, BCBS239 regulatory compliance, new product launches, and location and sourcing strategy reviews spanning the UK, Switzerland, APAC and the US.
As a Consulting Lead Partner, Lucine has grown two of Baringa’s global FS relationships from a standing start to “preferred supplier” status, led the go-to-market strategy for Markets, and hosted various industry leadership dialogues around key market topics with key leaders from Banks and Fintechs.
Lucine is a strong mentor and people leader, building long lasting relationships with her clients and teams. She holds an AOEC Leadership Coaching qualification, which she uses to coach both her teams and clients through leadership development and personal growth, alongside Lean Six Sigma and Agile Scrum certifications that underpin the rigour she brings to programme delivery.
Prior to joining Baringa in 2018, Lucine worked at Deloitte for 15 years, after completing a PhD in Pharmacology/Neuroscience at UCL. Lucine also studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London, followed by a MSc in International Management at King’s College London. Outside of work, Lucine enjoys traveling, baking, music, fitness/wellbeing, and spending time with family.
