In detail:
Kenny is a Senior Manager in Baringa’s CFO Advisory team, with over 16 years’ experience delivering large-scale finance transformation for financial services organisations. He has deep expertise across Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations, accounting and regulatory change, and the design and delivery of enhanced Finance Operating Models.
Prior to joining Baringa, Kenny held roles within EY’s CFO Advisory practice, as well as senior finance and risk transformation positions at Royal Bank of Scotland (NatWest Group) and Barclays plc.
Kenny works with leading global banks and insurers, advising on complex accounting and regulatory programmes spanning IFRS 9, Basel IV and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) reporting (including Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). He has also lead finance ERP implementations, including general ledger, technical sub-ledger, consolidation, system integration design and reporting solutions.
He is passionate about helping organisations establish sustainable, future-ready finance functions underpinned by digitally enabled systems, enabling better insight, improved control and more efficient processes.
Outside of work, Kenny enjoys listening to podcasts, spin classes, swimming, walking his English Bulldog, and returning to Scotland whenever he can.
