In detail:
Juana is a senior manager with more than twelve years of experience in the energy industry including risk management, trading processes and management reporting.
Juana has specialised in market risk management, P&L reporting and trade surveillance enablement. She strongly advocates the energy transition and supports trading companies grow their green portfolios. In her work, she contributes to a) a robust risk management organisation to manage the risks of renewables production consciously, b) the establishment of lean processes to manage large amounts of production data and c) the alignment of KPIs that steer business decisions towards sustainable, long-term positive return.
As a former risk manager at a municipal utility association in Germany, Juana brings a wealth of experience having monitored the trading activities of the front office departments and having been responsible to report the market and credit risks on daily basis. In previous roles she has also supported audit teams as a subject matter expert for trading strategies in the energy industry, performed valuation audits, and assessed clients' internal control systems.
In her free time, Juana enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and spends her time on nature. Together with her partner and their two children, she lives in Bern, the capital of Switzerland.
