In detail:
Juan grew up in Venezuela and graduated with a degree in Finance and Accounting. He has delivered numerous large transformational programmes in Financial Services, in multiple locations across the globe, primarily in Europe and the Americas. He joined Baringa in 2022 and is part of the CFO Advisory leadership team, where he helps our clients solve their key challenges and enables them to perform more efficiently.
Juans primary focus is to help organisations deliver their strategy and transform their business effectively. He has led a wide range of complex strategic programmes for large organisations, including FTSE 100 companies. He has led them through the design of operating models, organisational design, regulatory transformation, system implementation process improvement, and cost reduction within financial services.
Given that every business is unique, Juan approaches every challenge differently. He unravels the root cause of a problem and finds solutions that align with the organisation to achieve the best outcomes, while contributing to the growth and success of the company and its people.
People are the cornerstone of Juan’s work philosophy, both the clients’ and within Baringa itself. He is a true believer that building trust, as well as a positive, safe, diverse and inclusive environment is key to any project. As such, Juan puts people first and ensures that everyone is able to build on their strengths, as well as develop their capabilities throughout any engagement.
Outside work, Juan loves to escape the office and travel the world; he has been to over 55 countries. When Juan is not on a plane, he loves to keep active by playing football, working out or eating somewhere in London.
