Pay forward, and help people unconditionally
Growing up playing football in the academy system, Dave has always put the team before himself. He brought this philosophy with him to consulting. A career he’s wanted since the age of 16, when he had an inspiring chance encounter with old-school trouble-shooter, Sir Harvey-Jones. After that, Dave was locked on.
Now, an international business degree and two decades in the industry later, Dave leads our global banking team. Fundamentally, he sees his role as building and inspiring high-performing individuals and teams to solve our FS clients’ most complex challenges. The secret, Dave believes, is listening.
Dave joined Baringa when it was a 50-person business. He’s played a key role in growing our finical services practice and now that we are over 1,300 people all around the world, sees himself as a custodian of our values.
Making a mark on his clients’ trajectories is a hugely rewarding outcome of his work. While there are many, one of Dave’s most fulfilling Baringa experiences was helping a global wealth manager become more digitally mature, while also advising on their growth and maturity strategy.
In his personal life, family comes first and sport fits around it. Exercising daily is important to Dave’s mental health and he can be found running, biking, rowing or swimming. Often at ‘unreasonable’ hours like 6am, in an outdoor pool; sometimes when it’s warmer in the water than out.
