Chris is Baringa’s global CCS lead, and brings over 15 years experience working in energy and infrastructure. He has worked in leadership roles across the UK’s main energy institutions on energy and climate policy, regulatory policy and market design, as well as system operation and network development. Recently, Chris was in the leadership team delivering the UK government’s CCUS cluster sequencing programme. He led the policy development and deal for the first power plant with carbon capture in the UK and led international engagement with governments around the world on CCS policy. He now advises clients in the public and private sectors globally on policy, economic and commercial matters related to CCS, CDR and low carbon infrastructure.
