Chris Coleman is a Baringa expert in operating model transformation and operational excellence for telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) organisations. He helps senior leaders design and deliver large-scale change, including post-merger integration and AI-enabled transformation, that improves performance and unlocks sustainable, profitable growth.
With nearly 15 years across the TMT sectors and wider products and services organisations, Chris has led major transformation and people-change programmes at major UK telcos, including BT, O2 and subsequently VMO2, combining hands-on industry experience with a consulting perspective.
Chris is passionate about helping technology-led organisations achieve sustainable, profitable growth and better customer outcomes. He takes a customer-centric approach to problem-solving and has built a reputation for tailoring solutions to the specific challenges faced by large, global organisations. He likes to be brought in on the most challenging work, helping both senior leaders and operational teams deliver the biggest changes their organisation needs to stay ahead of the competition.
Chris follows the constant evolution of the technology landscape closely, tracking technology and AI trends and their impact on organisational strategy. Within Baringa’s Technology & Digital Infrastructure practice, he takes a leadership role in building propositions to support mid-market SaaS players.
Outside Baringa, he works closely with Imperial College Business School, supporting new MBA candidates in their career journeys, and is a trustee and Honorary Secretary for the Westminster Abbey Old Choristers’ Association. He enjoys “off the beaten track” international travel and a range of team and individual sports. Music is a passion too, whether singing in small professional ensembles or DJing underground tech house and techno.
