Ben is a partner in Baringa’s Energy and Resources practice, based in Melbourne, and leads our Australian infrastructure advisory and auction advisory offerings.
While Ben is an economist by trade, he now provides strategic and commercial advisory services to energy infrastructure investors, large energy users and government across Australia. He works at the intersection of energy markets, risk management, infrastructure and investment, with a particular interest in how capital can support Australia realise its long-term economic opportunities and deliver essential infrastructure.
Ben brings a practical, investor focused perspective to complex market questions. His recent work has supported clients win government underwriting contracts, secure binding private offtake contracts, sell utility assets, design greenfield energy systems, and attract debt finance.
Outside of work, Ben spends most of his time wrangling his growing family.
