I have been fascinated with the Investment Banking sector since the Global Financial Crisis in 2008 – an industry that was about to undergo serious change and regulatory reform. I began my career at BlackRock but decided to move to practice in order to pursue my Chartered Accountancy qualification. It was there that I discovered my passion for consultancy and have now spent over seven years advising Banking & Capital Markets clients.
To date, I have delivered multiple end-to-end global programmes across multiple disciplines including finance transformation, process improvement, risk advisory, change management, data management and robotic process automation for various top tier global investment banks.
Recently, I managed a high profile front to back global finance transformation and change management programme for the world’s largest private bank. Being versatile and flexible is one of the aspects I enjoy most from my career and consulting is all about being relevant and up-to-date with the market.
For me, the appeal of Baringa was because they grasped the importance of their people and placed them at the heart of their strategy and business model. They are a genuine meritocracy who also take professional development very seriously and understand the success of the firm is dependent on the success of its people. Since joining the firm, I have worked on multiple clients and have experienced the ‘Baringa way’ first hand. I love my career and I enjoy working with others who are passionate about client delivery and sustainable change.
