2024 UK Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap Report
As we continue our journey toward creating a more inclusive and equal workplace, we're excited to share our 2024 UK Gender Pay Gap and Ethnicity Pay Gap reports. At Baringa, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, and these reports reflect the meaningful progress we’ve made while reinforcing our ongoing commitment to driving lasting change.
Positive Progress in 2024
The 2024 reports show a positive shift. While overall representation has remained steady since 2022, we've seen strong talent progression into senior roles, playing a key role in reducing our pay gaps and ensuring career development opportunities are equitable for all.
Our Achievements This Year
- Gender Pay Gap: For the third year in a row, our mean gender pay gap has decreased, driven by a rise in female representation, especially in senior roles. While the median gap has seen a slight increase, we’re staying focused on growing and supporting women at all levels.
- Ethnicity Pay Gap: We’re also seeing positive trends with our ethnicity pay gap. Our mean ethnicity pay gap has improved, and the median gap has dropped significantly. Ethnically diverse representation continues to grow, particularly in senior roles, helping to narrow the pay gaps across ethnic groups.
This year, in our commitment to improving data transparency, we’ve included deeper analysis of our gender and ethnicity pay gap. You’ll find detailed breakdowns of the gaps between our Business Enablement (BE) and Consulting teams—another step toward a clearer picture of where we’re at and where we need to go.
Looking Ahead
We’re encouraged by the progress but we know there’s always more to be done. This year, we will focus on:
- Female Leadership Programme: We’re evolving this programme with the latest research and best practices to empower women and build a stronger talent pipeline for the future.
- Global Allyship Programme: To drive inclusion in a more holistic way, we’re launching a new global programme that focuses on shaping the right behaviours and attitudes across our teams.
- Ethnic Diversity Mentoring and Recruitment: We’re expanding our mentoring efforts to provide tailored support for ethnically diverse talent and refining our recruitment strategies to increase senior diverse representation across the business.
Updates regarding the opportunities above to be shared in due course – watch this space!
Our Commitment to Lasting Change
By continuing to develop and support female and ethnically diverse talent at every level, and by making our recruitment efforts more intentional, we are laying the groundwork for sustainable, meaningful change. As always, we’re committed to Putting People First and Creating Impact that Lasts—and we’re excited to see the continued progress as we keep moving forward.
