It has been said that Tom provides the glue to any team and he has used this attribute to create high performing teams for his clients since joining Baringa in 2013.
Tom specialises in enabling his clients to manage complex transformation programmes through a focus on operating model design & implementation, business architecture and organisation design. Tom works across industry but has the greatest experience in the Energy / Utilities / Telecommunications & Government Sectors. Recent projects include the “people lead” role for a two year, regulatory driven, IT programme and the re-architecture of the programme capability within a UK telco which oversees £200m spend annually. Tom is a driven, bright, analytical, outcome focussed, creative and collaborative team player.
Tom take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to his projects. This is particularly crucial in business change and transformation where no two projects are the same and each set of challenges are unique. Tom uses his extensive Change toolkit to work out bespoke approaches; always underpinned by the desire to enable the planned business benefits.
One of his greatest achievement is designing and implementing the supply chain for the COVID vaccine in UK. This project combined Tom’s passion for change with an incredible fast pace environment for a nationally important benefit.
Tom has travelled to ~60 countries and loves to experience new cultures. Most recently however Tom is much more likely to find himself on the side of a sports pitch supporting one his three boys. Tom has always been intrigued by cosmology and loves nothing better than studying and discussing the Universe and our place within it.
