Matthew leads the Customer and Digital practice at Baringa. Matthew joined Baringa from his own specialist digital consulting business, which he led for 11 years. Previously he spent ten years in various leadership roles at the digital agency AKQA. He has worked across many sectors with the common theme of using technology to help brands sell, service and engage customers better.
Matthew joined Baringa to be able to apply the management consulting skills-set more directly to customer needs and to the creation of new products and services that work the way we all expect them too. Generally getting people, technology and business working together.
Matthew’s particular area of interest is helping organisations imagine what they would look like if they were born today, in the digital-era, and then turning that into a reality. Matthew has grown-up with digital having worked on the first generation of sites for leading national and international automobile, telecommunication, retail and software companies, and supported change programmes for the UK’s largest privately owned retail group, Europe’s largest vehicle remarketing company and a leading technological retail company.
Matthew supports an Academy School and an education charity – he never ceases to be amazed by the ingenuity, invention and energy of well-motivated young people. Outside of work, he enjoys running with his dogs, introducing the world to his twins and writing about himself in the third-person.
