Nick leads both our CFO team and our work in climate change for financial services, one of Baringa’s fastest growing practices.
He brings over twenty years of industry and consulting experience to Baringa, including eight years working for Barclays and Deutsche Bank in investment banking. During this time, Nick led major regulatory change programmes that generated significant cost savings and enabled new regulatory programmes to be delivered on time and budget.
Within the consultancy aspect of his career, Nick held senior positions in major consultancy firms, including Ernst & Young, where he led CFO and treasury change projects and major regulatory programmes across Brexit, OCIR and IFRS 9, to name a few.
More recently at Baringa, Nick is using his vast front-to-back office experience and provides tangible value for our clients as they face tough new challenges, including TCFD, carbon accounting and measuring financed emissions; these themes are a major focus for us at Baringa across all work we do.
Outside of work, Nick is a passionate family man and enjoys cycling and generally keeping fit. He is a passionate watcher of all and any sport and has a particular passion for golf, which he likes to combine with raising money for charity. Nick sits on the events committee of Great Ormond Street Hospital, has a law degree and is a self-confessed accounting geek.
