Baringa confirms ambition to grow in continental Europe with the hiring of Annemie Viaene and Alpaslan Dilekci

Baringa is delighted to announce the addition of two new partners to our European energy and resources practice.

Annemie-(1).jpgAnnemie’s focus will be on bolstering Baringa’s Austrian, Swiss and German (ASG) operations, and extending operations further into the Benelux region and France.

Previously Managing Partner of the Benelux practice of Sia Consulting, and with over 25 years of experience in energy, Annemie has a strong vision for the future of the energy industry, driven by her background in helping firms with:

 

  • The shift to clean energy sources
  • Decentralised energy management, and customer autonomy
  • European market integration, and new EU energy market regulation
  • Product and service innovation.

Alpaslan has joined Baringa to head up its energy and resources practice in Austria, Switzerland and Germany (ASG).

A dedicated energy and infrastructure expert, Alpaslan has spent the majority of his career in the European energy industry and worked for some of Europe’s leading energy companies in corporate and trading functions; followed by strategy and operations consulting services for the sector in EMEA with a focus on ASG.

Alpaslan has lead numerous complex and cutting-edge projects across EMEA dedicated to clean energy growth, digital transformation and operational excellence as has advised key European and regional players, international investors, consortiums and governmental bodies. His focus areas are:

  • Transformation and investment into future energy systems
  • Decarbonised and innovation-driven solutions by client centric organisations
  • Continuous operations excellence in context of digital and demographic shifts.
