We constantly strive to be a great employer – for more than a decade we have consistently topped or come within the top five in great places to work lists. And we run a work placement programme that supports social mobility.
We are an impact based business. Our services deliver a positive social or environmental impact on our clients and their clients. For example: over the last five years, we’ve helped our clients create enough renewable energy capacity to power 180 million homes; we are helping clients in natural resources meet their climate and ESG commitments, we support the financial services sector to set and deliver on their climate commitments, and we’ve supported UK’s Department for Health and NHS with their response to Covid 19.
Much of Baringa's work helps the planet—including the market-leading climate change modelling we operate alongside BlackRock. We also support the economic and social wellbeing of the communities in which we live and work, through our pro bono work with charity partners, volunteering, secondments and community engagement, and our company wide CSR days. And we are stewarding the environment through our direct operations and supply chain. Since this programme started, we have reduced our CO2 emissions year-on-year, and have cut them by 60%.
