Analyst Opportunities - Energy & Resources

Are you looking for a company that values its culture as highly as the work it does? In a business where the people are always put first? With colleagues you value and trust?

We can provide you with all of that and more.

We’re looking for more great people to join the team. Individuals who are just as passionate about development as they are about our industry. New colleagues who bring their own views and perspective based on their own expertise and experience to date. Ultimately, more friendly faces in the office, and people to join our fantastic company events!

Our market leading growth in the Energy, Financial Services and Telecoms and Media industries, along with our continued ambitious expansion plans mean that we can continue to offer our employees the progression, development and diverse range of client engagements they are looking for.

These are the reasons people come to us, and these are the reasons they stay.

“We have worked hard at not only making Baringa a great place to work on a day to day basis but also a great place to build your career. Within the Energy & Resources Practice, we have had unprecedented market demand which continues to fuel our growth within Baringa. This has led to interesting work in areas such as smart grids and smart metering, new market entrants, organisational change, extension of competition, and the impact of digital on customer service. The growth of the business, the type of work we can offer and the reputation for looking after people should make Baringa the consultancy of choice for ambitious, collegiate, high achievers. We don’t employ ordinary consultants, we employ people of great promise. If you fit the bill, we would love you to join us.”

(Phil Leonard, Lead Partner - Energy & Resources)

What will you be doing?

Led by a senior management team with a reputation as respected industry thought leaders, you will have exposure to some of the top influencers, policymakers and companies across the European energy market and will be supported by a group of like-minded colleagues who are working at the forefront of the changing landscape of the energy industry.

You’ll get involved in a range of work: investment support for mergers and acquisitions, developing market entry strategies, optimising power generation portfolios and developing hedging strategies, helping to design business operating models, improving business processes, and advising government on future energy policy options to name just a few.

But don’t just take our word for it….

“Baringa is a fantastic place to work. Since joining I have been given the opportunity to work with a variety of clients ranging from large, Government back organisations, to foreign utilities and private investors. I have been given the scope to use the knowledge and skills I brought with me directly on project work. Whilst you are given a lot of responsibility and exposure, there is a strong support scheme in place for Analysts. You receive bespoke training, in addition to on the job support from management and peers. I have now progressed to become a Consultant and I am thrilled with the progression options available.

The culture at Baringa is unlike any other I have experienced before, not only do you get to work with fantastic people, you build real, lasting friendships. As an Analyst you have an instant pool of colleagues you can both depend on for support and socialise with on the many Baringa events throughout the year.

What I really appreciate about working for Baringa is the freedom I have been given to steer my own career path and by how much my opinion is considered at all levels. Who could ask for more?!”

(Aine Lane, Consultant)
