Since joining Baringa Partners just over a year ago I have been involved in a couple of different roles within the same programme at a major Utilities client in the UK. The programme is a large system implementation and organization change which will deliver £150m of cost benefit to the client’s core business. My first role was to help establish the Benefits Tracking framework to give key stakeholders visibility of how the project is delivering against its targets. From day one I was given high levels of responsibility and the chance to help shape and manage the work we were doing.

My current role is more Operational as I am working in a small team managing the transition of the system solution from the programme back to the business. This is a big challenge which involves travel between the company’s different offices around the UK and sees me working with client staff across a broad spectrum of seniority. It’s been hugely enjoyable seeing how the project is positively impacting the way the company runs their business day-to-day.
Before joining Baringa I previously worked for a large consultancy firm specializing in the design and delivery of data and reporting structures for major IT projects in the Energy sector. I love the fact that moving to Baringa has allowed me to keep working on major industry projects for a highly respected and trusted firm whilst also offering me the chance to grow my experience and develop my career in the way that I want.

Outside of work I try to keep up with playing a bit of 5-a-side football and squeezing in as many rounds of golf as I can when time and the weather permit. I love catching up with friends, going to the cinema, eating out and travelling. I did a Russian degree and lived in St Petersburg for a year so it’s my travel dream to go back and do the Trans-Siberian. You’d think years of commuting on trains in and around London and the South East would put me off that idea but apparently not!
