Paul has joined Baringa from KPMG where he was a partner focused on government and public sector. He has over 30 years’ experience spanning government, public sector and corporates in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
He is most passionate about contributing to programmes that build better communities and protect the most vulnerable in society. An example is where he led the establishment of the National Shielding Service to protect 2.5 million clinically extremely vulnerable citizens in the UK from contracting COVID-19 and his work on the transformation of NSW Government Banking and Payments to save taxpayer money and improve citizen payment experience.
As the Partner leading Baringa’s government sector team in Australia, Paul will provide strategic, operational advisory services to public sector clients. He has a detailed understanding of Government’s challenges and policy priorities. His experience includes operations efficiency and improvement; technology enabled transformation; customer experience; people and change; policy and reform delivery; and corporate services performance.
Paul lives in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, which keeps him close to the beaches and sunshine. When not at the beach, he loves being outdoors, food, wine, and travel. Paul has two teenage children who are his proudest achievement.
