“I joined Baringa Partners in January 2008 as a Manager in the FS practice, having previously worked for a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company for close to 5 years. During this time I focused on large scale IT implementation projects with FS clients including Royal & SunAlliance and Visa Europe. With this background, I knew that a move to Baringa Partners would provide a very different experience in terms of size, processes and culture. This has certainly been proven to be the case and I am enjoying working in a dynamic and challenging environment alongside some talented individuals.

The interview process involved an initial meeting with a Senior Manager from the FS practice, followed by a second interview with a Director and a Manager. The second session consisted of a short presentation based on my previous FS experience and some competency-based questions. Both meetings provided an excellent opportunity to quiz the interviewers about The Baringa Partners, plans for the FS practice and what life in a smaller firm is really like. I could tell during both interviews that these were people I could definitely work with and that this was a company I would enjoy being a part of.

Since joining Baringa Partners, I have been working on the Basel II regulatory programme at Lloyds TSB, based in central London, with several Baringa Partners colleagues. We are leveraging our team’s skills to assist the client in shaping release plans for the delivery of the Basel requirements within aggressive timelines. Within a couple of months we have created a strong presence within the Programme Management team and also within key functional roles across releases. Having other Baringa Partners colleagues on site has made the transition much easier for me personally and the team has gelled very well, paying dividends with the client perception of our company.”
