Remuneration

Baringa Partners ensures that it pays in the top quartile of the management consulting industry, by annual salary benchmarking against other similar companies. We pride ourselves on paying our employees competitively to retain the best people and to remunerate staff appropriately for the skill and effort they employ within the company. Baringa Partners also runs a bonus scheme, based on company and individual performance.

Holiday

All full time employees are entitled to holiday amounting to 25 working days during the calendar year. At the end of the year, outstanding untaken holiday of up to 10 days may be carried forward to the next year. You can also earn extra holiday when working out of town or at locations with a long commute.

Company Meetings

Approximately every 6 weeks, the company holds a meeting in either a central London or off-site location. This is an opportunity for employees to be updated on what is happening in the Company, on client projects and on events within our industries. It also provides an opportunity for the whole company to socialise with each other and catch up on news and gossip!

Health Care

Comprehensive Life Insurance, Permanent Health Insurance and Private Medical Insurance is provided at Baringa Partners and assessed annually to ensure that employees are getting the best support that they need.

Out of Town Scheme

As a consultant, working away from home is sometimes necessary and is a fact of consulting life for a company with clients across the UK and other European locations. While this is accepted by all staff, we believe more can be done to make working away from home easier, hence we have taken the steps below. Research of competitor organisations suggests that such a complete approach is unique to Baringa Partners, and has been a differentiator for staff looking to join us from other consulting organisations.

Additional Holiday

To compensate staff working out of town we award additional holidays based on time spent away. This allows our staff to take the extra days to catch up on personal chores, spend time with friends or family, and/or to just take a well-earned break! This benefit is also extended to “edge of town” employees who commute long distances.

Remuneration

Baringa Partners pays staff a substantial premium on their base salary if they live out of town for a sustained period of time without a break. As a result people on out of town assignments either take home additional salary, or are regularly rotated.

Location Flexibility

In general, we allow staff the flexibility to live wherever they wish in the UK and in most cases will not force a move to our office location.

3-4-5 Policy

All out of town client work is based on the 3-4-5 policy. This is a model where 5 days of client billable work are done across 4 working days on site (plus one day from home or local office) so the employee only needs to spend 3 nights away from home.
